The Lifetime Education Academy follows the South Spencer School Corporation calendar for holiday and emergency closings.

Mission Statement:

• To provide alternative education for South Spencer High School students
  
• To provide GED and other educational programs for adult learners
  
• To provide educational & life skill opportunities to the Spencer County Correctional Facility residents

• Basic Adult Education
• Certificates of Academic Achievement
• Drug Abuse and GED classes at the Spencer County Correctional Facility

Enrollment:

• Alternative Education students are referred by SSHS
• Adults may enroll for programs at any time

Attendance Requirements:
Students who are enrolled at SSHS must attend 16 hours per week, unless given a waiver by the high school principal. All other students are required to attend a minimum of three hours per week.
