Hagan Scholarship Foundation Date Added: 9/15/2020

For 2021 seniors in need of financial assistance in order to attend college.  Must graduate from a public high school located in an eligible state and in a county with fewer than 50,000 residents.  


Requirements: 
     -must be a citizen of the United States
     -must attend and be a student in an eligible public high school graduating class
     -must have achieved a 3.75 GPA or higher
     -must be ranked by the school and in the top 20% of high school graduating class
     -must enroll at an eligible four year college or university the fall semester after graduation
     -must work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of each academic year of college
     -FAFSA EFC must be less than $6500
     -must apply for eligible Federal and State grants
     -must not have been convicted of a felony

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship Date Added: 10/01/2020

The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years.

The application for this scholarship opens October 1. Students must apply through https://scholartrack.che.in.gov (ScholarTrack), so they will need to create a full student account before they can access the application. Gongaware Scholarship Indiana State University Date Added: 10/20/2020

Indiana State University's Scott College of Business awards students interested in careers in risk management, insurance and financial services. 

Scholars are offered support in the amount of:
     - $9,000 per year (valued at over $36,000 over four years)
     - $3,000 professional development account (may be used for study abroad and/or other leadership purposes)

Eligible students must meet at least two of the three following qualifications:
     - Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
     - Achieve a ranking in the top 15 percent of their high school graduating class
     - 1140 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math) or 23 ACT

Indiana State University Networks Financial Institute Date Added 11/11/2020

The Networks Scholarship is for students studying for a career in business and financial services - all majors in the Scott College of Business are eligible.

To be eligible to apply, students must be admitted as an incoming freshman to Indiana State.  Qualified students should possess two of the following three criteria:

-A cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
-An 1140 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math) or 23 ACT
-Ranking in the top 15% of the senior class

ETFCU Scholarship Program - Ted Hitch Date Added: 11/11/2020

Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union is continuing the Ted Hitch Scholarship Program.  Scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each will be awarded in the Spring of 2021.  Ten awards will be given to graduating high school seniors.  
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
    *Applicant or applicant's parents/guardians must be a member of ETFCU for at least 18 months prior to February 26,               2021 application deadline.  
    *Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale at the end of the fall semester

    *The use of at least 3 ETFCU services is required (in section 1 of application)

Knights of Pythias Scholarship Date Added: 11/11/2020

The Knights of Pythias of Indiana, a fraternal Order founded in 1864, is offering a minimum of 12 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to selected graduating seniors who meet the criteria:

-must be a senior in any high school or home school and a resident of Indiana
-must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above
-must submit SAT or ACT test results, if not on transcript
-must be registered in accredited college or university with proof of registration prior to disbursement of funds if you are a winner
-application must be postmarked on or before January 25, 2021 to be eligible
-application cab be computer scanned or created in a word document to increase size of answer areas.  Question sequence must remain the same.  HAND WRITTEN ANSWERS ON ANY PART OF THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
-applicant must include a short typed essay (600 words or less) about goals AFTER GRADUATING from college
-applicant must include a short typed essay (600 words or less) regarding your need of financial help

Tropicana Evansville Project 21 Scholarship Program Date Added: 11/30/2020

Project 21 is an educational program designed to communicate the consequences associated with under aged gambling.  High School, Vocational and College Students (ages 17-21) may submit posters, Essays, and/or Videos/DVDs.  These mediums should specifically address the subject of deterring under aged gambling.  Top three submissions will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship.  Rules:

- Essays MUST be published in a school publication.
- Posters MUST be displayed at the school for at least one week.
- Videos MUST be no longer than 2 minutes and at least 60 seconds, and MUST be played before at least 50 students. 
- Limit one entry, per student, per year.
- Essays, poster, and/or videos MUST be submitted to Tropicana Evansville - Attn: Kim Henning, no later than April 2, 2021.
- Scholarships winners will be notified by May 1, 2021.
- Scholarship checks will be issued to the winner's college to help pay for their tuition.  These funds MUST be used to furtherthe recipient's education.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Date Added: 12/16/2020

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship for college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.
  


GE-Reagan Foundation Scholar candidates must:

  • demonstrate at school, the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship;
  • demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
  • be citizens of the United States of America;
  • be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States, or any of the U.S. territories and commonwealths, and graduating in winter 2020 or spring 2021. Applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible; and
  • plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.

Gill Orthodontics Scholarship Date Added: 01/06/2021

Gill Orthodontics will be awarding 2 - nonrenewable $1000 scholarships.  Applicants must be in treatment or have completed treatment by Dr. James Gill, D.D.S. and be a graduating senior with a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of their senior fall semester.  Recipients will be determined based on essays, academic achievement, and participation in school and community activities.

Kentucky Wesleyan College Pyles Scholarships  Date Added: 01/07/2021

The Pyles Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of Luellen Pyles, a 1944 graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan, who taught English and Spanish in Ohio and Kentucky public schools from 1944 – 1953.  Pyles, a Maysville resident who passed away in December 2014, was a longtime college trustee whose bequest of over $4 million is one of the largest estate gifts in the College’s history.


The criteria to apply for this scholarship are the following:

    - Submit a scholarship application

    - Students entering the Teacher Education Program at Kentucky Wesleyan

    - 3.0 GPA

    - ACT score of 21 or higher

    - An essay related to the field of education will be submitted and scored by faculty members and members of the Teacher Education Advisory Committee                  (TEAC).

    - Maintain a minimum of 12 hours full time status each semester (will not include summer courses)

    - Must maintain standards of the Teacher Ed program including C or higher in all Education and support courses and a minimum GPA of 2.75 overall and in              all Teacher Ed core/major areas.

ASQ Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915 Scholarship Date Added: 01/27/2021

The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915 is offering a $500 scholarship to a high school senior graduating in their Section area.  
Purpose: to assist a student who plans to attend an accredited two or four-year college program or accredited Technical School. 

Eligibility:
     - recipient must be a graduate during the application year from a home school, an accredited high school or learning facility within the geographic area served by ASQ Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915, or either of whose parents are members of the ASQ...
     - scholarship will be awarded to the person selected by the Selection Committee, independent of any connection with ASQ membership
     - to receive the scholarship amount, the recipient must be admitted to or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to an accredited college/university, with an establishe student account.  
     - in the event the selected recipient becomes ineligible, the scholarship will be awarded to the next runner-up.

Indiana Sheriffs' Association Scholarship Date Added: 01/27/2021

The Indiana Sheriffs' Association Scholarship Fund was established for the purpose of receiving, investing and dispensing of funds to provide college scholarships to qualified students who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field.  This year, the association will be awarding forty (40) $750 scholarships to qualified students who are pursuing an education and career in the criminal justice field.  

The general qualifications for applicants are:
     - be an Indiana resident
     - committed to pursuing an education and career in a law enforcement field at an Indiana College or University
     - be a current member of the association, or a dependent child or grandchild of a current member of the association
     - must enroll as a full-time student (12 hours)

LifeSpring Foundation Scholarship Date Added: 02/01/21

LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana is awarding $500 scholarships this year.  To be eligible, applicants must be a high school senior with plans to study in the healthcare or public service field.  Applicants must also attend a high school in LifeSpring Health Systems' service area of Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, and Washington Counties in Indiana.  One scholarship will be awarded per county and the awardees will be determined by a panel of judges from the LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana Board of Directors.

Zach Wardrip Memorial Scholarships Date Added 02/01/2021

The Zach Wardrip Memorial Scholarship will be awarding (five) $1000 scholarships this year. Applicants need to be a high school senior, graduate or GED recipient of Southern Indiana or Northern Kentucky school systems, who are enrolled in a vocational school and planning to graduate after December 1.  

Applicant requirements:
     - write an essay as to why you want to pursue a degree in a trade school (more information online)
     - provide high school transcript
     - approved trades: automotive technology, aviation technology, building construction, commercial driver, diesel technology, electrical technology, farming and agriculture, fire science and technology, heavy equipment operator, HVAC, marine technology, pipe fitting, plumbing, and welding

The family of John and Marilyn Rothrock will be awarding one to three $1,000 scholarships annually to a candidate who meets the requirements listed on this application.  Application must be typed and turned in to South Spencer High School Guidance Office.

E'ville Iron Street Rods, Ltd Automotive Education Scholarship Date Added: 02/22/2021

This $3000 scholarship is open to seniors enrolled in Auto Body or Auto/Diesel Mechanics classes who plan to continue their education in the automotive area such as mechanics, auto body work, or diesel mechanics.

Knights of Columbus Rockport Council Date Added: 02/24/2021

Knights of Columbus Rockport Council will be awarding a $500 scholarship/award based on Faith, Leadership, and Educational Goals achieved during the student's academic life.  Qualifications for this scholarship are for those who plan to pursue full time academic or vocational education.  Only students who graduate from high school or home school in the current year or its related equivalent may apply.  Applications are excepted between May 1 and May 30.
