Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the South Spencer County School Corporation and our website. The faculty and
staff of the South Spencer County School Corporation is dedicated to educating, motivating,
challenging, and serving every student in their quest to learn, achieve, and be successful in every
endeavor they pursue. The School Board, administrators, teachers, and staff work together to
provide a wide range of programs, instructional practices, and activities that enhance each
student’s opportunity to learn and succeed. The South Spencer County School Corporation is
blessed to have parents and a community that fully supports our goals and efforts to put Kids
First. This bond, and sense of family, is strong. By working together and creating a positive
environment and community, our families and kids can grow and mature knowing they are
important, supported and loved.
It is truly an honor and privilege to serve as your superintendent. I’ve been part of public
education or over 30 years and it is my passion. I’m excited to be part of this team and look
forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure the South Spencer County School
Corporation is committed to continual improvement. By doing so we will add to the long history
of successes our schools, students, and communities have enjoyed. Rebel pride is real, and we
are dedicated to preserving and improving our schools, programs, instructional practices and
opportunities for all future Rebels. I hope you will join the South Spencer County School
Corporation team whether you are a student, parent, grand parent, business leader, or a
