We strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment, while also holding high expectations for every student. Our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring every student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Communication between school and home is an important factor to help ensure a positive and productive school year. We believe in maintaining open lines of communication, so please reach out to us via email, phone, or setting up in-person meetings to discuss any questions, concerns, or positive experiences. Your feedback is a crucial part of developing the best educational game plan for your child. We encourage parents and guardians to set up their family Harmony account, join our Remind notification system, and visit our school website and SSMS Facebook account. If you need assistance with any of these items, then please contact the school. 

One job we share as parents, guardians, or educators is to be ‘Life Officials’ for our children or students. We have experienced the stage of life that our kids are now entering. We know the touch downs and yellow flags that lie ahead. It is our responsibility to help our kids navigate the field, work through penalties, learn from mistakes, and help them grow into independent teammates showing good sportsmanship. We know there will be yellow flags along the way, but as ‘Life Officials’ for our team, we can experience a successful season.
